Giuseppe Mazzucchi Biography
Giuseppe Mazzucchi was born in November of 1953, in a little village which lies near the shore of Adige river. There, the main features are the wine culture, with the famous Amarone of Valpolicella, and the marble industry. Giuseppe has witnessed the marble processing since his childhood because his birth home was just near a marble factory. In fact, as a child, he was used to play on the little square of the factory where stonemasons cut marble slabs manually.
Afterward, he trained at the marble school in Sant’Ambrogio of Valpolicella and then he was hired at Adige Marmoresina Firm as a worker, where he learnt marble crafting from raw stone to finished product, such as stairs, floors and artifacts. After gaining experience as an employee, Giuseppe decided to work as an entrepreneur. We were in the early 70s. At that time, Giuseppe started polishing and laying marble and granite tiles for private villas in the North of Italy.
In February of 1980, Giuseppe was asked by his neighbor Maurizio to teach him the art of marble polishing. Over a period of 6 months, Giuseppe helped Maurizio to start a marble polishing firm. Just like his friend, Giuseppe was requested to do marble works abroad. It was 1983 and the call arrived from Bangkok (Thailand). He had obtained the important role of supervisor of marble and granite installation for a paving of 35,000 square meters at Ma Boon Khrong Center in Phayathai road. This work engaged Giuseppe for two years. This important experience allowed him to form a group of marble workers from Thailand and to install marble at Tower Building Toshiba Center in Vibhavadi Rangsit road, always in Bangkok. When he came back to Italy, he got an important assignment by famous Italian architect Visentin for luxury marble laying at private apartments in London. Afterward, he travelled across Austria, where remained until 2005. He also worked in Caribbean, Paris, Principality of Monaco to perform works of marble laying and polishing for private villas. After 2009, he flew to Azerbaijan to install and polish marble and mosaics at the villa of a minister.
In 2016, Giuseppe again met his friend Maurizio in Nigeria and together they started the wonderful adventure of M&B Marble Arts LTD that continued in Italy, as well, with works in Portofino and Grosseto and today in Canada.
Maurizio Boscaini Biography
Maurizio Boscaini was born on September 9, 1958 in Sant’Ambrogio, one of the most picturesque villages of Nothern Italy, in the province of Verona, amid a stunning valley, lovely mountains and a few kms away from Garda Lake. He trained at Paolo Brenzoni Marble School in 1973 – 1975 and in 1979 worked at Napoleone Marble Company.
In 1980, he again met his current partner Giuseppe, who taught him to polish marble and granite floors. He started his first marble firm in 1981 and collaborated with important marble Italian companies, such as Dallago & Fabbianelli in Trento and Marmareos in Arco, always in the province of Trento. His portfolio contains important works for the airport, the hospital, the university, the museum and other public buildings of Trento, in addition to the seat of the municipality of Riva Del Garda and the museum of artisanship of Trento, schools in Verona, Lecco and Bolzano and private villas and bank buildings in Ferrara, Asti, Bologna and Reggio Emilia.
In 1984, after receiving job offers from abroad, Maurizio travelled around the world to offer the best of the ancient and precious art of marble flooring. At the beginning, he moved to Germany, Austria and, again, to Berlino, where he remained until 1998. There, Maurizio polished and crafted wonderful marble and granite floors for public and private buildings. In 2009, he moved to Nigeria, where performed marble works for Julius Berger company and luxury villa “Mike Adegua” Banana Island in Lagos, and afterward for MRS Group in Lagos and Dangote Villa. For Marble House Company in Lagos, he polished the offices and even the Baptist Church. In his career, Maurizio specialized in polishing and treatments of several kinds of natural stones.
